This winter, Cock ‘n’ Bull Gallery is honoured to welcome artists Jack Stanton and Finbar Ward, winner and finalist, respectively, of Saatchi New Sensations 2013.
Fully absorbing our aim to challenge the hallowed traditions of a contemporary gallery, Jack and Finbar are transforming our subterranean art space into the very first Hurls Chamber, a bespoke sports venue.
‘Hurls’ will be match of the day in the chamber, a fast-paced two-player game devised by the artists themselves. Developed gradually during their breaks from studio work, ‘Hurls’ will be now be showcased for the highly aestheticised and fully playable sport it has come to be.
From the adrenaline junkie to the couch potato, Hurls Chamber is an exhibition that hopes to immerse and engage every visitor in appreciation of a novel sport.
